This VP position(s) will be integral in supporting the continued advancement of my clients' service offerings by managing key relationships, developing business opportunities, and executing placements with precision and expertise.  The successful applicant(s) will collaborate closely with clients, retailers, wholesalers, underwriters, and other global partners to deliver tailored solutions for complex risks.

     

    The preferred candidates will have:

    • A Bachelors' degree (or higher) in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or an insurance related field - coupled with professional insurance qualifications.

    • Demonstrated insurance knowledge with a track record of success in broking or underwriting complex risks.

    • Proven experience with Bermuda, London, and U.S. insurance/reinsurance markets.

    • Advanced knowledge of program design, policy wording, placement execution, and regulatory frameworks.

    • Excellent previous employer references coupled with an infectious positive work ethic.

  • (Permanent office-based appointment) 

    On behalf of a client we are seeking an energetic Senior Accountant to join their Finance team and to be based in Bermuda. Responsibilities will include supporting the accounting needs internally within the Group departments, lines of businesses and shareholder; as well as, externally with clients, brokers, vendors, banking partners, investment manager and independent auditors.

     

    This position will also be responsible for Bermuda regulatory filings including preparation of the BSCR, assisting the department with various account reconciliations, financial reporting, premiums receivable and financial analysis work.


    In addition to the supervisor, this individual will work closely with all members of the Finance team. The Senior Accountant must act with the highest level of integrity, business and personal ethical standards in all aspects of job performance.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

    • CA, CPA or ACCA professional accounting qualification

    • Re/insurance industry work experience

    • Bermuda Statutory Accounting knowledge

    • BSCR experience

    • Excellent organizational skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with experience
      in using formulas, pivot tables and charts​
