    Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will oversee financial operations for our medical software development company, managing complex requirements across multiple legal business entities. This key role will support a global workforce and international contractors, ensuring seamless financial and payroll
    operations while driving process improvements, compliance, and operational efficiency across multiple jurisdictions.


    The Controller will spearhead the continuous improvement of existing QBO processes and HubSpot CRM integrations while providing daily leadership, management, and mentor-ship to the current finance team to foster a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.

     

    The preferred candidate will have:

    • A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or another relevant quantitative discipline.

    • A postgraduate degree, CFA designation, actuarial qualification or other relevant professional qualification would be advantageous.

    • 5+ years of experience working in fixed income, structured credit, capital markets and/or other analytically rigorous environments.

    • Ability to extract, analyze and communicate insights from large and complex datasets.

    • Experience building financial models and analytical tools to support investment decisions and portfolio management.

    • Experience with SQL, Python, or other analytical programming tools.

    • Experience with catastrophe modeling platforms such as Moody's (RMS) or Verisk (AIR) is ideal but not required.  Excellent previous employer references.

  • On behalf of my Bermuda-based Client I invite interest from experienced and suitably qualified Risk Management professionals to join their team.

    ​

    This role will lead all risk management activities for the Bermuda operations including the second line challenge, whilst ensuring the effective identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting and mitigation of risks across the business.


    Key responsibilities include overseeing risk appetite, risk assessments, key risk indicators, scenario analysis and risk reporting.


    Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, the role provides expert advice across operational, regulatory, financial, strategic and emerging risks.


    The role also supports Board and committee reporting, regulatory engagement, capital and ORSA activities,
    strategic transactions and business change initiatives.

     

    The preferred candidate will have:

    • Extensive risk management experience gained within the P&C insurance or reinsurance sector and direct
      engagement with the regulators.

    • A Professional Risk Management certification (e.g. CRMA, CPA, FRM etc.)

    • Proven leadership experience with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and make risk-informed decisions.

    • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, legal frameworks, governance standards, and industry best practices.

    • Excellent previous employer and character references.

  • On behalf of my Client I invite interest from suitably qualified and experienced Actuaries for a newly created role based in Hamilton, Bermuda.

     

    The Risk Actuary supports the Risk Management and Actuarial department, working at the direction of the Risk Analytics Director, on risk analytics and modelling initiatives.

     

    The role involves developing and maintaining cash flow models and other complex financial analyses to support the pricing, management, and mitigation of portfolio risk, operating within objectives set by the

    Risk Analytics Director.

    The preferred candidate will have:

    • Completed Actuarial qualifications coupled with 3+ years progressive work experience gained in re/insurance.

    • A University degree in finance, mathematics or similar related field of study.

    • Experience with financial and risk modelling and tools building.

    • Hands-on experience in automation and financial modelling.

    • Proven track record of delivering complex financial projects and transactions.

    • Advanced skills in MS Excel, VBA, Python, R SAS and SQL.
