  • On behalf of my Client, I invite interest from suitably experienced and qualified Trust professionals to join their team in Bermuda.

     

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • The day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trusts and related underlying entities, whilst ensuring compliance with trust regulations and internal policies.

    • Attending Client meetings.

    • Drafting agendas and resolutions and recording meeting minutes as required.

    • Reviewing trust deeds and constitutional documents.

    • Conducting trust reviews, investment reviews, and ongoing transaction monitoring.

    • Reviewing trust financial statements and banking activity.

    • Ensuring trust records, files, and databases are maintained accurately.

    • Liaising with bankers, investment advisers, settlors, beneficiaries, protectors, and other intermediaries.

    • Ensuring clients retain compliance with various laws and regulations governing trusts

    • Maintaining trust records.

    • Carrying out and having oversight for trust related banking transactions.

    • Managing and organizing physical and electronic filing systems.

    • Recording billable time in accordance with company policy.

    • Managing billing and collection of receivables.

    • Supporting the Senior Management team by overseeing the work of Trust Administrators, reviewing key transactions and deliverables, and fostering a culture of compliance, accountability, and professional development.

    The preferred candidate will have:

    • A minimum of five years’ relevant experience in trust administration and corporate secretarial practices.

    • TEP qualified and/or professional designation in the field of Trusts or equivalent work experience.

    • Understanding of corporate structures and administration of companies.

    • Corporate secretarial experience while not a requirement would be an advantage.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to relate to and communicate with clients on both social and business levels.

    • Solid understanding and application of Trust industry best practices, and principles.

    • Proficiency in the use of MS Office and database software (experience with Viewpoint would be an asset).

    • Knowledge of compliance laws and regulations (CRS, FACTA etc.)

  • On behalf of my Client, I invite interest from suitably experienced and qualified Accounting professionals to join their team in Bermuda.

     

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintaining the integrity and completeness of the general ledger and managing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements, including annual external audits.

    • Developing and maintaining controls, systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely accounting and management reporting, and integrity of financial data and results.

    • Working closely with internal non-Finance departments to ensure the appropriate interpretation of legal agreements and business changes impacting Finance, the accounting records and settlement processes.

    • Reconciling balances, transactions and results reported by other business segments.

    • Working closely with Group Treasury to ensure appropriate cash management and forecasting.

    • Financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis and preparation of returns for regulated entities.

    • Preparing quarterly Board reporting packages and ad hoc reports and analyses for senior management.

    • Assisting with implementation of process and system improvements to ensure continuous improvement and innovation as well as supporting other group controlling activities as required.

    • Ensuring consistent application of global accounting policies and practices.

    • Liaising with international offices on a regular basis and building these relationships.


    The preferred candidate will have:

    • A CPA(CA), CA or ACA with at least 2 years post-qualification experience, including significant audit experience.

    • Preference will be given to applicants with fund management industry experience.

    • Experience of a multinational, multi- currency organization operating in a number of countries subject to different regulatory bodies.

    • Experience in preparation of financial statements under US GAAP, including consolidation of subsidiaries reported in multi currencies.

    • Up to date experience with US GAAP is a must.

    • Excellent PC skills including sound working knowledge of reporting and data management software, advanced Excel skills.

    • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills along with strong organisational, analytical and interpretative skills.

    • Ability to handle a diverse and varied workload, work on ad-hoc projects as they arise and to meet tight deadlines.

    • A team player with the ability to work closely with other team members or alone on ad hoc projects.

    • A mindset that is open to and welcomes change and innovation.​
