IT Systems Support Engineer - (Permanent appointment, office based)
On behalf of my Client I invite interest for this Bermuda based position. The successful candidate will work within a
globally distributed team supporting users both onsite and remotely. They will provide first and second level IT support working on a variety of tasks with a strong focus on IT automation.
Key responsibilities include:

Being the first point of contact for IT support queries, ensuring service desk queues are effectively managed to provide a first class end user experience

Sharing in rotating dispatcher responsibilities including triage of incidents and ensuring team tickets are updated regularly and meeting defined service level agreements

Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, guiding users through to resolution

Following internal processes including preparing and completing IT check-lists, reporting faults, maintaining logs on IT devices and ensuring the appropriate documentation for equipment and users is maintained

Assisting with the on boarding and off boarding process

Facilitating software and hardware installations
-
Supporting network patching and upgrades
-
Collaborating with the InfoSec and IT Operations teams
-
Managing time efficiently to multitask IT projects alongside daily operational tasks

Providing a positive customer/user experience
-
Identifying opportunities to reduce service requests through improving processes, user training, documentation and automation

Contributing to IT project initiatives
